LONGHORN IN COMFORT

The historic and charming town of Comfort is what I like to call “home base” for scenic drives in the Hill Country. Located between Fredericksburg, Bandera and Boerne, there is gorgeous Texas landscape in every direction.

After one of our drives, we explored the town and that’s when I met this striking longhorn. She was eating her dinner as the sun was setting behind her. She looked up at me, we stared at each other for a while and then she let me take her photo.

In 2019, this image won first place in the State Fair of Texas photography contest, professional division. It also won Best of Show!
